Google does badly on privacy

All the world now is talking Google is the worst on privacy in the top internet traffic sites.

Google does badly on privacy but it doesn't do well even for its own interest!

Scobleizer complains about Google sucks for travelers. Google puts a little cookie on your computer to track which country your computer is connected, then it will show you the site in the language majority people speak in that country.

If you really pay attention to this statement, there are many places that could break user experience.
Except traveler like Scobleizer, there are many Mexican living in the United States for many years. They don't speak well English. I wonder how they use Google. :)
Google only cares about your computer location, not cares about what language you speak;

If you have been searching porno sites for a night. Second day, you come to office, when you Google something, Google always rank porno sites first since it figures out that might be your best preference.

To be fair, on the first page of Google, there is a link, "preference", which you can use it to change language setting.

Google Reader borken today

Well, not really for me, but for Techcrunch guys.
Google Reader still works for me although it doesn't work on Safari V3 onWindows at all. See my earlier post.
Google Reader, Gmail, Google Document, and others have been up and down for me for a long time. All of my friends joked on me that Google blocks me because I'm writing this blog.

Google Reader doesn't work in Safari 3.0 for Windows

Considering how closely Apple and Google have been working together on Google Map for IPhone and other initiatives according to recent news, either talked by Steve Jobs or from the news. It's surprised to find that Safari V3 on Windows announced today doesn't work for Google Reader at all.

Check out the page on the left. I'm really jealous of Googlers not bothered by the QAs like our QA, who filed bugs even for icons don't align well in Safari.
